She focuses on working with men, women, and teens, specializing in various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and adjustment to life changes. Additionally, Darcy is also committed to supporting and counseling parents of autistic children as they manage the unique challenges of raising a child on the autism spectrum.
She obtained her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Purdue University. Darcy employs a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s individual needs. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Restructuring, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, and Expressive Art Therapies. By combining these techniques, she helps clients explore their emotions, process their feelings and thoughts, gain insight into their behaviors, regulate their emotions, and build the resilience necessary to overcome obstacles.
